Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing combat sports. It is a sport that requires a lot of power, strength and endurance. Protein intake can range from 2g – 2.5g per kilo of body weight, depending on the demands of the training and it should account for a large percentage of their diet (up to 35%). This allows the fighter to gain muscular growth while also helping with the recovery process.
