Desiree Henry is a 100m and 200m sprinter representing Great Britain. Hailing from North London, Desiree’s talent was discovered by her local club Enfield and Haringey. They were thoroughly impressed with what they saw from Desiree as she exhibited immense speed which dwarfed that of her school peers.
Desiree really started to make huge progression when and she was soon competing and winning races around the world. Desiree won gold at the World Youth Championships in 2011 and followed that up with a European Gold medal at youth level in 2013 in the 4x100m relay.
The success did not stop there for Desiree as she continued her winning ways in the relay race with yet another gold medal in the 4x100m relay at the European Championships in Zurich, Switzerland.
At just 20 years old, the world is at her lightning fast feet. Able to compete in a variety of sprint events, Desiree Henry is sure to leave her mark in a multitude of races.
